Sheryl Seef

Pedagogista at Moriah Early Childhood Center
Assistant Director
Deerfield, Illinois
Sheryl began her career as an elementary school teacher. After her own children attended a Jewish early childhood program, she discovered her passion for Jewish early childhood education. Sheryl’s interest and experience in the development of Executive Function Skills emerged when she was hired as the Director of Operation to open the Chicago branch of Beyond BookSmart, a Boston-based company coaching children and adults to develop their Executive Function Skills. In this capacity Sheryl worked mostly with middle school and high school students as well as adults. Her deep connection to early childhood led her back to emergence of the Executive Function Skills in infancy and how significant the development of these skills is in the early years. Sheryl now joyfully works full time as the Assistant Director/Pedagogista at Moriah Early Childhood Center in Deerfield, Illinois and often speaks to groups of early childhood educators about Executive Function Skills in early childhood.
