Assistant Director
Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Miryam Buchler was born and raised in Morocco. At the age of 17, she moved to New York to earn a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education and later on a Master's degree in Special Education. Miryam's experience encompasses teaching typically and atypically developing children as a teacher, early interventionist and behavior therapist. Her passion for working with children with autism led her to pursue her behavior analysis board certification.
After moving to Florida, Miryam found her place working at the Barbara and Jack Kay Early Childhood Learning Center in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, where she is currently the assistant director. Her focus includes ensuring that the needs of diverse learners are met and pedagogy, with a focus on infants and toddlers. In her role, Miryam meets with educators, families and therapists to ensure each child achieves their maximum potential and to support parents on their parenting journey.
Miryam recently graduated from the Sheva Covenant Directors Institute fellowship, a three year program sponsored by the JCC Association and Covenant foundation, that aimed to shape future leaders in the field of Jewish Early Childhood Education.

Miryam finds her inspiration in her two daughters Emma and Abigail and her husband Nir with whom, together raise their children in Jewish values and love for Israel.
