Why Use Protocols? Part I

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Many educators use protocols as they engage in collaborative learning in various settings, such as teacher teams, book groups, study groups, professional learning communities, faculty meetings, leadership teams, and many others. Often, however, the protocols are used as an end in themselves, without a compelling purpose.  This session will provide participants the opportunity to explore the question “why use protocols?” to connect their use to larger purposes such as educational equity and to match specific protocols to the learning and/or work to be accomplished. We will practice using protocols throughout the session.
