I have worked in Early Childhood for 41 years and at the Weinstein JCC for over 36 years first as a teacher and as the Director for 32 years. Our department has 218 children from 2-5 years old participating in preschool and childcare. We offer a Jewish, inclusive child-centered program that is inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach. Our program has a strong focus on teaching Jewish values and ethics and Nature Education. I am fortunate to have a Nature Educator, Gardening Educator, Jewish Educator, Pedagogistas, Atelierista and a Professional Development Director as part of our visionary team! I am looking forward to participating in the Paradigm Project Conference learning and being with like minded Jewish EC professionals.
